Building a Fence...Finally!

 It is truly just a beautiful as imagined!  I love having our backyard to ourselves & so far the 6-ft fence has deterred the deer and the neighborhood cats.  Bunnies are another story...but they are so stinking cute when they are little ;) (Of course, looking at the photos, I see the gap where they are coming in...I guess the cats can't be bothered to squeeze under there!)


The kids have enjoyed splashing in their little pool, painting and basically just running around back there.  It's a small yard, but feels bigger fenced in~I know it doesn't make much sense, but it's true!

Van ride home from the gym ~approximately 5 minutes:

DD6: Mommy, did you know that there's a new show coming to PBS?

Me: Really, what's it about?

DD6: It's about a lion named Jeffrey and his friends.  He's not a giraffe, he's a lion. I think his name's Lionel. That's it, Lionel and his friends.  I think it's replacing that other show, you know the Robin Hood one.

Me: What Robin Hood show?

DD6: You know, Mr. Robin and his neighborhood.

Me: Mr. Roger's Neighborhood

DD6: Uh-huh. Anyway, that's it, it's Lionel and his Neighborhood.  That's the name of the show!

Me: So what's it about?

DD6: Well, there's this little tiger and his friends.  That's all I know.

***I still know nothing about this show :) (I just needed to write it down as soon as I walked in the door, since this is pretty much the way all conversations go with our almost 7 year-old)

Update (8/11/12) Finally found out what the show is called: Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood ~So I can see the origin of her thoughts ;)
